Goats Paradise

Goats Paradise Resort (hereinafter referred to as the resort) is owned by AIR Repovž, Miha Repovž s.p. (Pot za bistrico 17, Zaboršt, 1230 Domžale) and rents accommodation in accordance with its General Terms and Conditions.

Conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded when the resort receives a written order from the customer via any sales channel. The Customer is deemed to have fully accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Business (hereinafter referred to as the GTC).

Reservations
A confirmed reservation is a commitment, a contract between the resort and the guest, the terms of which must be respected by both. The terms and conditions of the reservation are always clearly visible before the reservation is finally confirmed.

The rental of the accommodation unit includes:

rental of the selected accommodation – room or apartment per night;
use of bed linen;
use of towels;
parking space in front of the house
free Wi-Fi;
VAT, registration.

The resort tries to take into account the additional requirements of the client when booking the accommodation.

The Resort is obliged to have the rooms booked by the guest ready and to provide the agreed services. The guest undertakes to pay the agreed price for the services he/she has availed of. The client has no right to additional services not promised to him/her or not included in the hotel offer.

Mandatory and optional surcharges are indicated in the Payment and cancellation conditions.

Notice to guests prior to arrival at the resort
The Resort will send a message to the e-mail address or telephone number provided, at least one day before arrival, reminding guests of the valid reservation, informing them of the possible check-in time and the method of contact and entry.

Check-in/check-out

Check in

When checking in, a valid identification document (passport, ID card, driving licence, etc.) must be entered in the form sent by e-mail. The documents must be valid at the time of arrival and departure of the guest. Every person staying at the resort is obliged to have a valid document. If the person is under the age of majority, this must be taken care of by the person responsible for him/her.

Accommodation of persons not registered is strictly prohibited.

The reserved accommodation unit is at the guest’s disposal from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

Guests may be allowed to check in early by prior arrangement and at the discretion of the staff.

Check out

On the day of departure, the client must vacate the room/apartment by 10:00, deposit the key in the keybox and pay any outstanding charges.

If the client exceeds the check-out time and leaves before 13:00, the property may charge an additional fee. Late check-out may be possible by prior arrangement and at the discretion of the staff. Additional charges are set out in the Payment and cancellation policy.

If the charges are not paid in full at the time of check-out, your credit card will be charged and you will be notified by email or through the channel through which you contacted the resort.

Parking
We provide a limited number of parking spaces for guests at the property.

Peace and quiet
The resort must be quiet between 22:00 and 07:00.
Order and cleanliness of the hotel and accommodation units

Guests are responsible for the order and cleanliness of the resort and their accommodation unit.

Accommodation units shall be cleaned on departure. If you require additional cleaning, please inform us. Additional cleaning is at an extra charge.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any area of the resort. Smoking is allowed on balconies or outside areas, but you must clean up after yourself and dispose of any extinguished waste in the outside bins. Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms without balconies (e.g. windows). The Resort has the right to charge an additional amount to cover the cost of cleaning, refreshing and airing the room. In addition to this amount, any damages will be charged and the resort has the right to prematurely evacuate the guest. In the event of an intervention by the fire brigade due to smoking, the guest will be liable for any costs incurred.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in the resort.

Doors
Guests are required to lock all doors upon arrival and departure to ensure the safety of all persons and belongings and to reduce the risk of theft.

Limitation of liability and damages
The Resort warrants its contractual obligations with the care of a merchant of good faith. The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of or damage to guests’ property or personal injury arising in any way during the stay (except for personal injury to guests arising directly from the Company’s gross negligence). The Company’s total liability for damages shall not exceed the reservation value.

Nothing in the Contract or any other document relating thereto shall exclude liability for death or personal injury arising out of the Company’s gross negligence or liability for fraud or misrepresentation.

If there is any disruption or damage to the Service, the Hotel will endeavour to rectify it as soon as possible and the Guest is obliged to contribute to the rectification of the disruption or to the minimisation of the damage.

If the Guest causes damage anywhere in the Resort or on its external premises, the Guest shall be held fully liable for such damage and the Resort disclaims any liability for any damage which the Guest may suffer as a result.

In the event of a breach of the house rules or damage, the Resort reserves the right to take measures such as prohibition of entry, removal of guests from the premises and compensation for damage caused.

The Resort reserves the right, and the Guest authorises the Resort, to charge the Guest’s credit or debit card for any damage or theft of items.

Payment and cancellation terms
Each reservation is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid, the amount of which depends on the booking conditions applicable to the offer selected. Reservations are charged in several ways and in several instalments. The offers have different conditions regarding price, minimum number of nights and payment.
Payment and cancellation terms

Payment and cancellation terms depending on the offer selected:

– the guest can cancel free of charge 7 days before arrival; the guest will be charged 100% if cancelling less than 7 days before arrival.
– the guest will be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price immediately at the time of booking and the balance 7 days before arrival
– non-refundable rate: a booking fee of 100% of the reservation price will be charged at any time after the reservation is made; no refunds;
– in case of no-show, the full amount of the reservation (100%) will be charged;
– in case of early departure, 100% of the reservation amount is payable;
– special offers, gift vouchers or packages may be subject to special conditions.

In any case, we reserve the right to charge you for the administrative costs related to the cancellation.

Special offers
Offers that may be considered as special offers (last minute, first minute, promotions, etc.) are valid from the day they are published on the website until the day indicated as the end of the special offer. Special offers do not apply to bookings made before the offer was launched or after the offer has expired. Offers are only valid subject to the conditions stated on the website.

Cancellation risk
Guests are advised to take out cancellation insurance as we do not refund any monies charged in accordance with the cancellation policy. This applies to all situations, including medical.

If, at the time of check-in, the guest anticipates that due to certain circumstances (which may arise in his/her own or his/her immediate family) he/she may not be able to take part in the trip, we suggest taking out cancellation insurance with one of the insurance agencies. Guests are reminded to pay attention to the contents of the insurance policy.

The resort’s right to cancel the reservation
The Resort has the right to cancel the reservation if the amount due has not been paid within the agreed time limit. Exceptionally, the resort may also cancel the contract for a valid reason (e.g. force majeure or other circumstances (emergency, urgent closure, etc.) for which the resort is not responsible or due to misleading or incorrect material information provided by the customer) or in the event of inappropriate behaviour on the part of the prospective guest. The payment or non-payment of cancellation in an emergency situation is subject to the agreements and laws in force majeure.

The resort has the right to change the reservation:

if unforeseeable emergency repairs are required to the booked accommodation unit, which prevent the normal and safe use of the unit;
if the same unit has been double-booked; in this case, the resort is obliged to allow the guest to stay in an equivalent unit, but if this is not possible, the resort may accommodate the guest in a better-value unit free of charge or in a better-value unit with a refund of the difference in the price of the units; if it is not possible to exchange the units, the resort shall make every effort to find equivalent accommodation free of charge in the locality, or shall refund the full cost of the reservation.

The means of payment are:

– cash;
– credit cards:
– transfer to the company’s transaction account (NLB D.D., IBAN SI56 0230 0026 1854 0371,swift: LJBASI2X).

All prices quoted on this page are in euro (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT), unless explicitly stated otherwise. The tourist tax is an additional charge depending on the actual number of persons and nights stayed and is therefore not included in the room rate.

On the day of check-out, the tourist tax and additional costs incurred during the stay must be added. Extra costs may be incurred as a result of additional services provided by the resort or as a result of damages. All outstanding charges must be paid in full at the time of check-out.

Mandatory surcharges:

Tourist tax:

The price of the tourist tax is a municipal tax, the amount of which is adjusted annually;
adults pay the full amount and children aged 7-18 pay half the amount;
the fee is payable at the time of check-out from the resort;

additional cleaning of the apartment – EUR 20 – 50;
late departure: 50 eur;
unregistered persons, sleeping and breaking the rules of the house or not respecting the rules of the house – 100 euro.

Optional surcharges:

Damage caused, the value of which is estimated by the owner according to the purchase price, the cost of assembly and transport, and indirect damage caused by the inability to use the accommodation, part of the accommodation or the service for other guests:
loss of key or non-return on departure – EUR 30;
smoking – EUR 150,00;
broken light – EUR 100;
broken or damaged TV set – EUR 800;
torn or damaged bed linen – EUR 200;
damage to interior woodwork, furniture, windows, doors, façades (collision with a car) and similar damage will be charged according to a repair estimate by a competent professional.

Final provisions

These General Conditions are subject to Slovenian law. In the event of a dispute between the parties, the Kranj Court of Property shall have jurisdiction over all disputes.

These General Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts concluded from the date of their publication on the website www.goatsparadise.com.
